Description

The 1849 Mormon $2 1/2 was made by the mint at Salt Lake City, Utah. The mint was supervised by Brigham Young and was housed in a small adobe building. This piece has a wonderful original surface and great detail. It is authenticated and graded by NGC as XF45. POR. Heritage just sold a PCGS40 with much less detail for $52,800 in the 2022 FUN sale.
