Description

Lovely Ephraim Brasher sugar from about 1775-1780. This is marked Brasher/ N. York on the bottom. It weighs 8 oz. 18 dwt. and stands 5 1/2 inches tall. The color is beautiful. There is just a trace remaining of a cypher on one side. Probably worn almost smooth after 200+ years of use. All in all quite lovely.
