Description

This spoon was made by famed silversmith Ephraim Brasher in New York circa 1790. It has the EB marks twice on the back of the handle in the oval cartouches. This is the same mark that he used on his famous Brasher Doubloons and on his regulated world gold coinage of the same era. For those of us who cannot afford the 3-10 million dollars a Doubloon would cost this represents a great opportunity to own his mark on something a bit more accessible. 9 inches in length. SOLD
