Description

This is a fine porringer by Daniel Boyer who worked in Boston from 1746 to 1779. The date on the handle says 1769 and is contemporary to the piece. The porringer weighs 8 Oz. 15 Dwt. and measures 5 1/2 inches across. The Yale University collection has a porringer and a beaker with Boyer’s marks.
