Description

Daniel Russell was born in 1698 and lived until 1771. In 1734 he made a baptismal bowl for Trinity church, Newport, Rhode Island. This porringer measures 7 5/8 inches long and weighs 8 Oz. 14 Dwt. The keyhole handle is engraved A*A to A*E. DR in a rectangle on the bottom of the handle. From the Ralph Carpenter collection.
