This wonderful old silver tankard was made early in Boston’s second century. John Burt lived from about 1692-1746. He apprenticed with John Coney and learned his trade well. He had three sons follow him into the art: William, Benjamin and Samuel.This tankard is 7 1/2″ tall and weighs 18 Oz. 10 Dwt.
