Description

Classic early federal drum shaped teapot by John David. This was made in Philadelphia circa 1785. It stands 6 1/4 inches tall and weighs 18 Oz. The pot is topped with a galleried lid and a pineapple finial. The engraving is still sharp and the teapot is unusually attractive.
