Description

This marvelous silver cann is by John Edwards, one of early Boston’s best early silversmiths. Edwards was born in England in 1671 and apprenticed with Jeremiah Dummer in Boston about 1684-1690. The cann is nicely ribbed top, middle and bottom. It weighs 8 Oz. 18 Dwt. and stands 4 1/4 inches tall. SOLD
