Description

Very nice porringer by Joseph Goldthwaite. He made this in Boston about 1740. It measures 8 inches across the top. Joseph was a captain at the siege of Lewisburg, in 1745. ER to AB engraved on the top of the handle for the original owners. IG under crown show to the left of the handle. The weight is 6 Ounce 6 Dwt.
