Description

These silver and steel knee buckles were made circa 1720’s in NY. They bear the mark of the great Dutch heritage silversmith Peter Van Dyck who lived 1684-1751. Van Dyck apprenticed with Bartholomew LeRoux probably starting in the year 1700. Van Dyck would go on to marry LeRoux’s daughter Rachel in 1711.
