An American silver creamer by Joseph and Nathaniel Richardson. Philadelphia, Pa. circa 1785.Height 4 1/4 inches 4 oz 5 dwt. The Richardson family was well know in Philadelphia. Their father Joseph Richardson was one of the top silversmiths in his time. Joseph (Jr.) would go on to become the first assayer at the fledgeling United States mint. SOLD
