This delightful caster from early pre-revolutionary Boston was made by Samuel Edwards, whose father John Edwards was also a well respected goldsmith. It stands 5 1/2 inches tall and weighs 2 Oz. 19 Dwt. This is a charming colonial Massachusetts silver caster.
