Description

Samuel Vernon lived from 1683 to 1737. He was born in Newport and remained there. In 1707 he married his first wife Elizabeth Fleet. This porringer is in beautiful condition. The mark is a little bit soft  from almost three hundred years of wear but still reads well. The block initials on the handle are P/I*M. It measures 7 inches long and weighs 6 Oz. 10 Dwt.
