An American silver covered creamer by John Sayre. New York, NY circa 1800. Height 6 3/4 inches 9 oz 10 dwt. John and his silversmith brother Joel were born in Southhampton, NY and apprenticed with Elias Pelletreau. This creamer is nicely engraved and has the ubiquitous pineapple atop it’s finial. SOLD
