Description

These wonderful spoons were made in NY by the great Simeon Soumaine. The rat tail spoon is 7 1/2 inches long. There is a very faint “IV” initials on the back and it dates to about 1720. The second spoon measures 8 inches and has visible but worn initials B/S*E. It daters a bit later, probably circa 1740. Both spoons are in fine condition an weigh a combined 3 Oz. 12 Dwt. Buy just one for $900.
