This silver child’s cann was made in Baltimore about 1785. Standish Barry is famous in the coin world for his tiny 3 pence coins which bring $50,000 or more in nice condition. This cann would have been made very early in career after his 7 year apprenticeship with David Evans. The cann stands 3 3/4 inches tall wand weighs 6 Oz. 8 Dwt. On the base is lightly scratched “Eliza Law (1804?)” EL is the monogram on the front. Sold
