Description

This is a lovely early Newport porringer from one of the rarer makers. Benjamin Brenton was born in 1695 and lived until 1749. This porringer was made right around 1740 and measures 7 1/4 inches across the top. It is still in excellent condition with very nice color and surfaces. F/P*I engraved on the handle for the original owners. Boldly marked twice BB on the bottom of the handle. The weight is 8 Ounce 7 Dwt.
