An American silver salver probably by Elias Boudinot. Philadelphia, Pa. circa 1750. Diameter 5 5/8 inches 6 oz 5 dwt. Boudinot was born in New York in 1706 and apprenticed with Simeon Soutane. Attribution by John Ward and Kevin Tierney at Sotheby’s. The salver is undoubtedly mid-18th century Philadelphia. SOLD
