Description
This very stylish early English silver cup, also known as a porringer, has a decorative fluted bowl and matching lid. Around the bottom of the bowl are bands of matting and bead, similar to the lid. The scroll handles are decorated in a similar fashion with decorative thumb pieces. This antique silver cup is in excellent quality, with a decorative style and a very good weight. The front and back are large and finely inscribed with a coat-of-arms.
