Description

Rare set of 6 early American forks. These were made circa 1810 in Philadelphia by Joseph Lownes. Even individual forks from this early are very scarce. Sets are practically non-existent. These are nice and heavy. Each is over 2 ounces and the set weighs 15 Oz. 5 Dwt. They measure 8 1/4 inches in length and have lovely engraved handles.
