Description

This lovely cann was made in Boston circa 1750. The contemporary armorial on the front is for the Stoddard family.The bottom of the cann engraved at a later date “”Col. John Stoddard 1682-1748”

The crest is a little worn and the mark of N. Hurd a bit soft. Overall beautiful condition. The cann measures 5 inches in height and weighs 11 oz. 5 Dwt. Sold
