Description

Enjoy a pair of early American silver (18th century) from the Philadelphia silversmith, Joseph Anthony. Circa 1790, these are a tapered cylinder shape with a reeded mid-rib and base. The bottoms are marked twice on each “J Anthony” for authenticity. Anthony worked in Philadelphia from 1783 to 1809 at Market Street. Later he operated Anthony & sons from 1810 to 1814 when he died.
