Description

Standish Barry is a well known name in numismatics. The Barry 3 pence, a tiny little silver coin, can bring $50,000 or more in nice condition. Barry was a colonel of the first rifle regiment. The ladle measures 14 1/2 ” long and weighs 7 Oz. The handle is stamped Barry twice on the back in his familiar cartouche. The end of the handle is wonderfully engraved with a castle and dragon. That is the crest of the Barry family. The ladle was made in Baltimore circa 1790.
