Description
This Silver sugar urn was made by Standish Barry probably in 1792. That is the date that is marked on it. The urn would have been made in Baltimore in Barry’s shoppe on Baltimore Street. Standish Barry is well known for the rare coins that bear his name and was a prominent member of the community. He was also a colonel in the First Rifle Regiment. This beautiful Sugar Urn stands a proud 10 3/4 inches tall and weighs 15 Oz. SOLD
